Absolutely Fantastic
Swan photography was our photographer for our wedding. I had made the decision early on that I didn’t want a professional photographer because I am so camera shy and absolutely hate the pressure of posing and being in front of the camera. We met Gillian a few weeks before our wedding date at our chosen venue and she has such a kind, calm, friendly nature she really put my mind at ease and I’m now so pleased we had a photographer. We have some absolutely amazing photos to remind us of our special day. I would highly recommend Swan photography to anybody, nothing was too much trouble and the end result is absolutely fantastic.

She visited us at the location a few weeks before to see what lighting and angles were available and to understand what photos we wanted and when. Gillian was our wedding photographer for our wedding in April and she was brilliant, we was friendly, kind and made us all at ease. we had a fantastic day filled with laughs and jokes and the photo's she took where beyond our expectation and absolutely fabulous. she captured moments we will cherish for a life time. her photos showed our true personalities not just posed smiles like some photos. it showed what a lovely happy day it truly was. and having our dog in the photos just made our day even more special.

Wow what lovely pictures she produced. It was a bit of a rush at the registry office as so many weddings but Gillian was calm and kept us calm and managed to get lots of family pics in and captured the best bits. I would like to thank Gillian for her professionalism!! She was amazing from the moment we met her to the moment of our special day! To say my husband hates having his picture taken she really did put him at ease and helped us get some amazing photos and was awesome! On the day it was very hot! 27-28° and she made sure we were happy and got the photos we wanted and again made us feel amazing! She did the photos so quickly and we got some amazing ones we didn't even know they were being taken as she just stayed out the way until it came to the ones of us together but she got some awesome shots!! I can't thank Gillian enough for her hard work and amazing skills of doing our wedding shots!! I will always recommend her to anyone for her professional skills!

We met Gillian at both venues a few weeks before the actual day so we could go through what my husband and I wanted, plus get some ideas of Gillian on what she thought was the best being a professional. Gillian is fun, caring, reliable. We first met her a couple of years before our wedding at a friend of ours and we loved her.

Gillian is a lovely person to have around on your special day. She’s extremely professional and knowledgeable and blends into the background just snapping away. We loved the casual shots that she did of the wedding guests, as much as the formal shots. She also did some funky shots in black and white with a spot of colour, which were very effective. We were running a little late by the end and Gillian didn’t mind working a bit over time. Great value for money.

Amazing photographer! We found Gillian while looking for a photographer at a time when planning was stressful and the amount of information we were processing with different vendors was crazy, however when we contacted swan photography we were surprised by how the package offered was simple to understand and that it was a fixed price with out having to pay extra for things as everything we wanted was included as standard. Gillian explained everything that she does and what to expect and made us feel confident in hiring her for her services. Leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication via phone and email to discuss different aspects and he also had a face to face meeting at the venue to discus locations and what photos we wanted to get of families etc. On the day Gillian was amazing! She was also moving around getting photos of the venue, guests etc and she knew exactly how to get guest in the correct place to get the photos that we wanted and it really took any stress out of the day and if we needed a break, that was fine and she would go round letting people know who would be needed when we started again. So thank you so much for making our day magical and for giving us so many amazing photos that we sill treasure forever and to anyone who is confused with all the photographers offering loads of different extras/ services, speak to swan photography as they keep it simple while still giving a quality service and a day you'll never forget!

Beautifully done pictures!
Gillian is wonderful, full of laughter, and excellent at capturing in the moment and formal pictures. We asked for her to join us on our wedding day at Rutland Water at Normanton Church (such a beautiful church and venue) she was there on the dot, straight in action! She chatted to us prior with ideas when we previously at the venue, she chatted to all our guests we pretty much let her just crack on with everything as we are not very photogenic people! She has produced some beautiful pictures for us to look back on! Some stunning scenery ones, decor and of course bride and groom pictures! Will 10/10 recommend! Wonderful lady!
